Grindleton Pavilion Opening|
The juniors enjoyed visiting the new village pavilion on Friday 23rd November 2012. They sang World in Union and then had a tour of the pavilion.
Our topic this term is:
Spirit of Christmas
Water, Water Everywhere
Each week 3 children from the juniors prepare a class worship based on either the weekly statement or the value by which are trying to live by as a school. They then present their class worship at Friday's assembly. All children are on a rota. They can choose a prayer to read, a poem or a story from the Bible, perhaps they may choose to draw some pictures, make a powerpoint presentation, light a candle, sing a hymn... The choice is theirs.
The values this year are:
Autumn Term Spring Term Summer Term
Courage Trust Friendship
Responsibility Forgiveness Creativity
Wisdom Respect Humility
