Welcome to Class 3
Welcome back, I hope you all had a rested Easter Holiday and didn't eat too much chocolate.
As we enter the final term we have got a busy term ahead, especially the Year 6 children as we prepare for our SATs at the end of the month. I am always thrilled by the enthusiasm Class 3 show towards their work. I am sure the children will be just as enthusiastic this term and I look forward to their contributions and learning together.
White Scar Caves|
On the 26th October 2016, in line with our Rocks topic, KS2 visited Whitescar caves. White Scar Cave enjoys a magnificent setting in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. On our visit we were introduced to the science and wonder of the subterranean world. The cave walk covers one mile, ensuring that our learning was combined with exercise! There are underground streams and waterfalls, flowstone, prehistoric mud pools, and the huge Battlefield Cavern adorned with thousands of stalactites. We had an amazing time!
